Most apples are either quite sweet or rather sharp. We grow mostly dessert apples and so while most of them produce juice that is on the sweeter side of medium, many of our cooking apples are probably too sharp for the average pallate. It makes sense then, to use the sharper varieties to blend with the sweetest, to make a juice that sits well on the average pallate. Hence our Somerset Orchard Blend. It is a homogenous blend of our apples, only from our orchards in Somerset to make a juice that simply tastes of apple! Just like you find in the shops, but a thousand times better.
