Description

Junami is somewhat of a wonder variety.  Bred in Switzerland, it is one of the relatively new varieties that values flavour over texture, although it stores fantastically well, almost all year in an modified atmoshpere coldstore.  Although we have only grown the variety for less than ten years, it regularly tops our comparison taste tests producing a high quality juice that is smooth and full flavoured.  Like traditional varieties, it has a complex balance of both sweet and sharp characteristics, which must be why it is so popular?
