Worcester Pearmain marks the end of the early summer apple varieties. It is sweeter than those varieties that preceed it and its flesh is firmer but it still won’t store for more than a few weeks. This means it is ideal for juicing as we can utilise the entire crop. Typically for a traditional apple, it is pale green, blushed red on the sunny side. Firm flesh and a distinctive flavour that can best be described as a taste of summer. Medium sweet and hints of stawberry.
