75cl Pear Juice Packhams Triumph

Description

The variety originates from New Zealand but is now grown worldwide.  It is peculiar in that the fruit has a lumpy appearance but that should not detract from the fact that this is a quality pear.  Sweet and juicy but with a hint of citrus.  We have them in our oldest pear orchard that is now over 90 years old.  They act as a pollinator for the Conference trees but are a great variety in their own right.  A very small amount of Bramley juice is added to improve the stability but the juice tastes overwhelmingly of pear.  Very refreshing and should be drunk chilled.
